Solar & Inverter Size Calculator
Add your appliances and how many hours a day you run them. We will tell you the inverter size, battery capacity and panel wattage you need — and you can send the result to us on WhatsApp for an exact quote.
This is a sizing guide, not an electrical design. For loads above about 5 kW, or three-phase supply, have a qualified electrician confirm the final design.

Browse invertersHow the numbers work
- Inverter size — your total connected load plus 25% headroom, so the inverter is not running at its limit. Motors (fridges, pumps, AC compressors) draw 3-7x their running wattage for a second at startup, which is why headroom matters.
- Battery capacity — daily energy use divided by the system voltage, then doubled because lead-acid batteries should not be discharged below 50%, then divided by 80% inverter efficiency.
- Solar array — daily energy use divided by your city's peak sun hours, then increased by 25% to cover cloudy days, dust on panels and cable losses.
Common Pakistani home setups
| Typical load | Inverter | Battery | Panels |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4 fans + 8 LED lights | 1200W | 200Ah / 24V | 2 x 550W |
| Fans, lights + 1 LED TV + router | 2000W | 400Ah / 24V | 4 x 550W |
| The above + fridge | 3000W | 600Ah / 24V | 6 x 550W |
| Small home with 1 ton inverter AC | 5000W | 800Ah / 48V | 10 x 550W |
